Synopsis

Homer's epic poem "The Odyssey", set in the deep south during the 1930's. In it, three escaped convicts search for hidden treasure while a relentless lawman pursues them.

Loosely based on Homer's 'Odyssey' the movie deals with the picaresque adventures of Everett Ulysses McGill and his companions Delmar and Pete in 1930s Mississipi. Sprung from a chain gang and trying to reach Everetts home to recover the buried loot of a bank heist they are confronted by a series of strange characters. Among them sirens, a cyclops, bank robber George 'Babyface' Nelson (very annoyed by that nickname), a campaigning Governor, his opponent, a KKK lynch mob, and a blind prophet, who warns the trio that "the treasure you seek shall not be the treasure you find."

The movie is really good, saw it on my drama class during my freshmen year. The song is quite catchy when they sing it.

It is a good movie V-9 A-6 just like a always really good quality but shit audio you cant even hear it unless you put on a pair of headphones. I appreciate the rip and understand people want small size over good audio cause they can just crank up the sound on their TV i have a monitor so that is not a choice for me. But stop kissing ass people and saying AUDIO=10 the yifi team dosnt even think the AUDIO is 10!

i like to watch a movie to fall asleep to but when i play a movie i have downloaded from yifi the sound is either to low or too high so i can hardly hear it or it wakes me up when there is an explosion or gun fire.
it is doing my head in i use vlc player is there something i can do or is there another player i should use.
any suggestions help its doing my head in
