An astronaut crew crash lands on a planet in the distant future where intelligent talking apes are the dominant species, and humans are the oppressed and enslaved.

Taylor and two other astronauts come out of deep hibernation to find that their ship has crashed. Escaping with little more than clothes they find that they have landed on a planet where men are pre-lingual and uncivilized while apes have learned speech and technology. Taylor is captured and taken to the city of the apes after damaging his throat so that he is silent and cannot communicate with the apes.

Thanks anyway for your effort.

zigibogido March 25, 2013 at 7:30 am

heavymetal2005 March 25, 2013 at 12:48 pm

Great movie, however, sound cuts out at the last two minutes of the movie.

Stein276 March 25, 2013 at 11:00 pm

Could someone please explain the sound issue with this collection.

Pedro_RC March 26, 2013 at 4:19 pm

What's the deal with the audio at the end? I guess I'll have to go for the 720p releases.

CaptPeacock March 26, 2013 at 4:44 pm

I can verify the audio problem in the first movie. I've decided to not get the others until this problem fixed. Hopefully, that won't take too long.

Ernst22 March 27, 2013 at 1:13 am

Dont waste your time Pedro_RC the 720p all have the same problem. How will we know that it is fixed? I have already downloaded four!

El Ropo March 27, 2013 at 2:01 am

I have the 720p of Planet of the Apes (1968), and the audio goes all the way to the end of credits. Haven't tried the 1080p, but am tempted to grab it just to check..

pratik770 March 27, 2013 at 4:02 am

thanks for the upload. but a few seconds of sound missing in the end. don't know if thats how sound is in the original source.

steve007 March 27, 2013 at 12:00 pm

ALL 1080p are ruined buy lack of audio at the end of all the movies... however the 720p ones are all fine, that is also the same for the new rise of the planet.

crispy28 March 27, 2013 at 3:51 pm

Not sure what everyone is talking about missing the movie end and some say sound is missing, just looked at mine and they all work fine, maybe you guys need to update your players, just a suggestion, some of you are saying you use VLC , I use MPC , go to CCCP (cccp-project.net) and download it from there , tried VLC once and didn't like it. Hope this helps.

davtirluthier March 28, 2013 at 8:29 am

Just for clarification, it doesn't make any difference which media player you use, the 1080p version are ALL missing sound at the end. Which is a shame and ruins the movies.

I am surprised we have not heard from Bokutox on this issue.

I have not tried the 720p versions as I can get them anywhere, the 1080p were great quality up until the end, shame.

Still looking forward to a solution (re-up)...
